Location is obviously great as it is right in the old town, surrounded by all the tapas bars. Just be aware that there is obviously no parking close by. You need to walk in with our luggage. With Google Maps, we found the place fairly easily. It's right next to a blue shop which sells basque cheesecake (no opinion in the cheesecake... we only go to la vina ;) ) the room is a good size with its own bathroom, which is really nice. The bed is comfy. The bathroom is a little small, but that is just how it is in old town

difficult communication. Check is stated until 10 pm - we arrived 9.30 ish - because we ran into some trouble with hiring our car in Madrid. On arrival, no one answered the door, and no one answered the phone number. I also messaged on booking.com. After some time, luckily some other guests came back from their dinner and let us in. they said they had a similar experience and the key would be in the door. during that time i also got a whatsapp message from the property with explanation how to get in and also a message via the system here. i wish the message came earlier.... also we did not have any hot water for the shower. in the morning another guest told us there is a hot water issue.... we also were not informed about that. we did not see a single staff member. not even the next morning before check out.

Location is in the heart of the old town, which was very nice.

To be improved

Asked for 2 single beds and got a double bed + a single bed, which made the rest of the room very small. The sink in the bathroom was too small (toilettype washbasin). Rooms were quite noisy. We could hear our neighbours move around.

The location was excellent and we recommend booking if you want to be in the heart of the old town.

To be improved

The pillars and the bed were not the most comfortable, the space is very tiny and beside the bed there’s not room for anything else. There is no furniture except one chair. It’s a very humid building and the room itself is humid as well.

“location was central to the old town. · Cons: there were no staff, i arrived and called the number on the door, they gave me a code to enter and the key was in my door. I suppose that would be fine, but as i was travelling alone it was a bit strange nobody being around.”
