“Clean, modern simple room in the heart of pedestrian Old Town.”

The best

Located on one of the few quiet streets in Old town, these rather minimalist rooms have a clean modern remodel with a comfortable true double bed, recessed lighting and modern bathroom. Of course the location was perfect and part of the appeal. We also had a small balcony and tall doors, good AC, and hot water. Tea service is available in the entry anteroom. The proprietor Ibon, though not always around, was helpful and pleasant to visit with, and a wealth of information both for local establishments and more broadly about northern Spain.

To be improved

Parking for those with a car is four blocks away in an underground pay garage.

Location was great and staff in contact all the time and very helpful . Very clean and for a 2 star property it was good

To be improved

Small room and no onsite staffing . The parking was a hastle only because the maps driving app sent us to a car park exit exit . We had to work out how to get an entry

“Basic room, helpful host.”

The best

Clean and centrally located. Not much “charm” but it’s just a room. We had the room that overlooked the inner courtyard that was a little bleak. The host was available during the day and was helpful when we had questions about the trains/busses. Cold water, instant coffee and tea were available in the little lobby outside of rooms. AC was sufficient. Closet space to hang clothes. No breakfast (as advertised) but recommendations given.

To be improved

Not a lot of charm: just a basic room. But if just for sleeping, ok for the area.

Location was perfect, literally 2 mins from centre of everything in the old town. Check in easy, owner was very good host and helpful

To be improved

Bedroom window opened onto an internal type courtyard, which could be noisy from other apartments/ rooms. So we kept the window closed and used air conditioning
