Noise at midnight when restaurant closed, in particular the noise of the bottles at 11.30 each evening

Room humid with leaking shower cubicle.

Negative: the auto check would have been very difficult if we didn’t come while the restaurant attached to the room wasn’t open. There were no clear instructions for accessing the room. It’s strangely located in the same building as the restaurant. When we couldn’t find the room, we asked a waiter where the Casitas were and to our total surprise he took us to the cashier counter inside the restaurant to confirm our reservation. The lock would only open at exactly 14:00h. Since we were extremely tired and hungry, the restaurant staff kindly opened the door for us 2 minutes before 14:00h. Safety: location has no sidewalk in front of the building and no crosswalk either, and it’s on a busy road. The window shutters (photo) can be opened from the outside. If you go out of the room and forget to close the glass window inside the room, someone can open the shutters and enter your room or reach for something if it’s close to the window. Also, there is no safe in the room for your valuables. The emergency exit inside the room tells you to leave through the restaurant door in case of an emergency. I guess if the restaurant is closed you might be history. However, the parking lot behind the restaurant is open to the outside street. Location: this is a horrible location if you’re doing the Camino de Santiago and is trying to have a rest day on the weekend or is trying to go to Decathlon. There is almost nothing around. On a Sunday this was even worse. Make sure that you don’t need to go out for food or anything else if it’s a Sunday. The closest shopping areas for food and other items is at least 20 minutes walk each way. Amenities: the room is totally bare. No fridge, no microwave, only one glass, no utensils, nothing to heat up water, and no plates. If you’re trying to eat in the room, you will have to be creative and have your own utensils.

The price is low with only 60euro per night but the accommodation is really very very basic and noisy.
