“Good location, clean and nicely priced”

Location is opposite the railway station and at the start of one of the main streets that leads to the nice central park. A few streets away from the main shopping street where no traffic is. The rooms are on the second floor to be reached by elevator. Clean room and normal size bathroom with good shower (room 4). Under the pension is a café/bistro Santa Christina located that serves tostados and pinxtos in the morning with very good coffee served by kind and polite staff at good prices. Warehouse El Cortes Ingles at few hundred meters.

To be improved

On arrival i had to wait outside as no one was at reception and a speaker 🔈 announced something in Spanish. After 10 minutes a lady arrived to let me into the building. The lady did not speak one word English, only Spanish. I suggest that for next guests the speaker says “stay there, someone is coming to let you in” Luckely during the 4 days stay a man who was part of the Staff spoke English to communicate.

The best

Exceptional value in Oviedo whether you are travelling as a tourist, preparing for Camino or both. Close to train station, bus station, supermarket, cafes and restaurants. The manager was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and well maintained.

There is nothing I did not like. This was a fantastic place to stay.

Clean, spacious, easy to access with lift, very hospitable. Beds comfortable.

A bit hard to find but it’s just opposite the station. Some road noise but we slept well
