Pensión Pedrouzo

Very light at night and window wouldn’t close so very noisy. There is a green exit light right above the door so it was impossible to sleep.

The lighting of the room : only on the ceiling. No light near the bed. Lack of sounproofing, between rooms.

Nothing, for what we wanted it was all good.

The walls were very thin and we could hear guests. Couldn’t sleep because of this until 2 am. Additionally, the staff kept trying to get into our room. This was very disconcerting. Checkout time was 10:30 am and starting at 8:00 am, staff was yelling outside with each other and tried opening our door. No knocking, shaking handles. Luckily we lock our rooms but this has never happened before ever. They continued to do this every half an hour until we left at 10:30.

The price was twice what it have been. I just walked across Northern Spain and stayed in over 30 accomadations, including a 4 star Parador hotel that cost less. I would have given the place a much higher review if the price was right--it is an ultra basic hotel room. The other thing I destest is the online check in which is always problematic. No staff means the people in the two rooms next to us can shout and scream at each other--it is not my job to tell them to be quiet and doing so in this day and age can actually be dangerous people are so crazy. I did ask them to be quiet, but in the morning they got up early opened their door and played loud music.
