Location was superior. When you are that close to the cathedral it will naturally be a little louder. We would stay here again.

“Amazing hostess, great value for money”

Second time here, because the hostess - Maria Jesús - is SO passionate about making guests comfortable. She really makes us feel welcome every time. I think she rushes to the shared bathroom to clean it every chance she gets. There is tea, coffee, some small snacks in the common area - it is a great place. Besides, you are wall to wall with the Cathedral.

To be improved

Las Praterias is a stone throw away and can get loud sometimes. The bar underneath the windows can (and will) get very loud especially on weekends. Like, with singing. So if you have difficulties falling asleep, it could be a concern.

Right next to the cathedral so exploring Santiago was extremely easy. Very friendly host, clean and airy room. Facilities were kept spotless and organized.

To be improved

My room overlooked a very busy lane with people up and out all night long. Closing the windows helped but if you are a light sleeper, this may be an issue for you

“Perfect stay in Santiago”

Wow, wow and wow ! My wife and I stayed at this Pension in Santiago de Compostela for 2 nights after having completed the Camino Frances and walked over 500 kilometers ! I must say that I don’t often write reviews but this time I had no choice. First, this place is located less than 50 meters from the Cathedral and is located in an area of bars and restaurants. Second, the greetings and the hospitality showed by Maria-Jesus, the owner of the Pension was beyond expected. She made sure many times that everything was ok. This place is owned by locals and everything is great. As for the cleanliness of the place, it was also perfect. Maria is taking good care of the premises. So if you are in Santiago, this is the place to stay.
