“I would stay here again.”
The best

Staff was nice and helpful. Rooms were clean. Beds were very comfortable. Location was great for walking to several of the major sites in Madrid as well as lots of choices for food. This is in a district with a lot of noise on the street (mostly people hanging out and talking outside restaurants, including late into the night). We knew this and brought earplugs and had no problem sleeping. Bring earplugs.

To be improved

Water temperature in the shower was a bit unpredictable. Sometimes no hot water and sometimes it was hard to get water that wasn't TOO hot. We managed, but if the property wants to make an improvement, that would be something to address.

“Location · Cons: I stayed at this hostel for one week, and according to their own rules, cleaning should be done every 3 days. However, despite asking the reception staff two or three times to change towels and take out the garbage, nothing was ever done. They kept promising to handle it "every day", but no one ever followed through. The service was awful, and the staff were completely unhelpful and unresponsive. The only positive thing about this place is its location. Everything else was a big disappointment.”
