I made a reservation for one night. I then added another. Because of this I had to change rooms. I used to be a reservation manager so had no problem with that. I asked to leave my rucksack there until I could check in again later. The answer was we have no place to put it. I had to carry my bag in a heatwave for 4 hours. I'm pretty sure the person running here also lives in the building. There was no effort to even try to help. I have never come across this in all my years working and staying in hotels.

“The place is good enough for a weekend in the wine region. Good value for the money you paid. Easy access, easy parking, very well located. Mattresses are old and can be a problem if you have a light sleep. · Cons: A bit of mold in the corners of the shower that can be better cleaned”

Reception on floor 1 of a block of flats. My room on floor 3. Reception unmanned. You have to ring the number and the lady will come let you in. The room was big and very bright with a wall of windows. The bed is big and very clean. Similarly the shower room is good size and shiny. Tele etc. Nice town. Lovely church/castle up on the hill. Good bar in the square.

The WIFI was rubbish! As I’ve since learnt was the bed; it squeaks terribly. It’s wooden slats ala IKEA.
