“Lovely town and this was right in the middle”
Location and decoration
Could have had a clearer/bigger sign. I had to ask a few people where it was as dud not notice the name sign

“Perfect Stay”
The staff was very responsive to questions and requests. The room smelt and looked fabulous. You can tell things are still very new in appearance. The shower was heavenly with warm water and it was spacious. The shampoo and shower gel were a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and the shutters offered darkness. There is a/c but we didn't use it. Something else that is helpful was the vending machine in the entrance with hot and cold drinks. Lastly, the locating couldn't have been more perfect. The monastery, multiple cafes and ice cream parlor are 1-2 minutes walk from the hostel. The supermarket is 3 minutes.
The pension is still undergoing renovations so they're was a lot of loud construction work going on when we arrived. It made taking a nap hard. The windows don't prop open very much or maybe we weren't doing it correctly. Also, there is no lift.
“Good Stopover on the Camino”
The pension is currently being renovated - roof - so you hear noise in the afternoon but otherwise it was very quiet. It is a self-check in accommodation with no staff on site and no facilities. The breakfast photos are from the restaurant across the plaza which they own. The communication via Booking.com and WhatsApp was easy and efficient. Questions like a request for slightly earlier check-in were answered promptly. The rooms with ensuite bathroom are beautifully renovated. Thank you for the sweet on the bed - a very nice gesture. The a/c and fan are a plus on a hot day.
We were in room 12 with the green armchair and found the bed too short and narrow for 2 slim people. The bed will be comfortable for 1 person.
“It provided a refuge for the night, nothing more.”
Building work was going on in the hotel on the floors above. It was very noisy in the afternoon. The shower was dirty because of dirt dropping from the ceiling extractor fan. The entrance stairs were covered with loose cardboard to protect them from workmen’s boots, a h&s issue. There was no toilet paper.
“Lovely”
Absolutely lovely room and bathroom. Large and spacious. Beautifully decorated. Was able to access the room a little earlier due to staff cleaner letting us in. Vending machine in hall for coffee drinks snacks.
Code for the building and room doesn’t activate until 3pm. No front desk to check in with. If you are early you would have to wait as there would be no one to ask. I was lucky someone was there when we arrived.
