I’ve stayed here before but preferred to pay cancellation fees on arrival date rather than go back. Incessant nuisance messages on email from booking .com and Ubeda and WhatsApp messages almost daily since making the reservation and insistent online registration with personal details on date I was due to arrive while I was traveling. As I result, I got very frustrated as I could have provided all my personal details on arrival. The staff was rude, like my previous visit because I arrived 6:20pm due to delayed ferry at Santander. A simple booking with guaranteed payment should be enough to warrant a booking. Everything else can be handled in person on arrival like everywhere else. The nonstop messages made me feel harassed and impolite customer service made me not want to spend a moment there, knowing it would be another unpleasant experience. In the end, I preferred to pay €65 cancellation fees for peace. Still they continued, so I had to block them on WhatsApp. I found alternative accommodation at San Camilo Hotel 5km away on the same day and had a wonderful stay - same price, professional and above all, hassle-free.
