Well equipped apartment at a great location. Really enjoyed the roof terrace. The only problem was the hot water pressure. We couldn’t shower properly because there was almost no hot water.

Good communication for airport transfer. Good transfer. Apartment is spacious, secure and well appointed. The terrace is pleasant with good view of beach and harbour. Nice bathrooms. The apartments is in a busy, lively area of Las Palmas. It’s convenient for shops, restaurants etc. Good local bus service to the old town and further afield.

To be improved

There was no kettle, DVD or CD player as advertised on Booking.com.. We bought a kettle for our stay, as well as a cafetière; there is a Nespresso machine. The bed linen was adequate but only one pillow for each guest was provided. There is only street parking, despite ‘free private parking’ being described on Booking.com website. We messaged the owner about but he didn’t respond. We gave up on hiring a car. The area is very noisy. There was a limited supply of hot water, with such low water pressure that the rainfall showers just did not work. The water was not hot enough.

The pressure in the shower was not much, if you wanted warm water, you could not use the big one, we stayed from 27 dec - 3 jan and the sun is never on the balcony. We used the beach👍

A mixed experience. The apartment itself is wonderful: a spacious, clean, new(ish) two-level top-floor (6th) solution, well-equipped and with a great location. Some traffic noise, as suggested in the description, a spacious roof terrace. The stairs between the two levels could be a problem for physically challenged persons and small children. Unfortunately, we had to wait an hour in the street for the owner to arrive. Once settled in, we (two adult couples) found out that one of the beds was missing and the wifi wasn't working. The missing bed was installed the following day and the wifi problem partially fixed (no access with smartphones). Oddly, there was no literature, user's manuals for the household equipment, guide booklets or free city maps in the apartment, not even the complimentary (water) bottle. The street door & key combination remained a frustrating challenge for the two weeks. The evening before our departure the owner got in touch and wanted us to leave before noon the following day (contrary to the written promise of a two hours' extension he made while negotiating the booking), blaming it on the cleaning company, new guests coming early and "life being like that". Finally, 11:30 am was agreed on. While we were packing, the cleaning team turned up at 11 am sharp, and a lot of shouting and telephoning took place. We left in a hurry. An interesting city and island, but not a 100% perfect experience, as already stated.
