The apartment needs better maintenance: The fire extinguisher hadn't been re-gassed for seven years, when these things need to be checked annually, so if there had been a fire, I don't know if it would have worked. This is a serious issue that the owners really ought to take care of. The water pressure in the sink wasn't very good and you had to flush the toilet chain several times in order for things to flush down. The bucket to mop the floor had a hole in it and when we wanted to use it, you spilled water everywhere. As for the rooms, the bed was a bit uncomfortable and my husband and me were bitten by bedbugs. Also, in the small room, which we didn't use because there were only two of us, there was a piece of furniture that had one side completely loose, so if someone leaned on it or accidentally moved it, it could fall on their foot and really hurt them. Some of the above are quite serious things the owners of the apartment should really look into. Taking into account all the things that were wrong, 140 € a night is quite on the expensive side, as breakfast and parking were not included. If we wanted parking, we had to pay 15 extra euros per day, so we parked outside in a public space, but quite far away.
