Ongoing maintenance on the exterior of the main building….however NOT the owners fault. This work should be done in the winter months.

The apt was sunny and bright. There is a nice cafe downstairs.

The owner tried to extort us for 20 Euros because my bank account was in the US and he would have to pay someone to return our 200 Euro deposit in person vs wait a week and have it deposited in my US bank and incur international fees. I mentioned getting in touch with Booking.com to settle the dispute and he folded, saying he thought I was checking out after regular hours. Our entire convo was in writing. He made that up. We never said that. The apt is sparse. The elevator is hard to operate. The apt came with very little soap and toilet paper. We had 2 adults for 4 nights. The outdoor furniture is covered in bird droppings and could not be used. Plus, a lounger had a broken leg. The garbage can had no liner and the sheets are scratchy. The twin beds are not comfortable. Lots of street noise at night during the off season. I can't imagine the noise in the high season. Rent knowing you will have to take a cab from the real estate office where you pick up keys to the property.
