“Not what I expected.”

The "Superior" room was not superior by anyone's standards. I was luckily the only occupant. There was no room to layout a suitcase. It may be a European tradition to completely unpack your suitcases for a three night stay, but most Americans leave their bags packed and only pull out what they will be using as needed. The next issue was for two of the evenings during our stay, the pool area was booked for private events. That is a bad policy for the guests who booked the hotel because of the pool. The bar patio has very limited shaded sitting areas during the hours just before sunset. I had no idea that the tables with comfortable couches and shade must be reserved. I had to sit on a very uncomfortable metal stool in the sun while I was there. And everytime one of these couch areas would open up, there was another party with a reservation to occupy it. There were no preferences given to the hotel guests. I saw many hotel guests being turned away and disappointed. On our last day, the hallway on the 8th floor had a bad sewer like smell. Luckily the rooms did not, but the walk to the room from the lift was very unpleasant. We did notify hotel staff. The staff of the hotel, that I did see, where very nice and friendly, but they we're all young. There didn't seem to be any senior staff members or anyone identfied as being a hotel manager present. Most of your guests are foreign travelers and sometimes it would be nice to talk to someone who understands the American way of lifestyle and can explain the honest expectations of how your hotel facilities are different from what we are used to in the U.S.

My stay at Pestana CR7 Gran Vía Madrid was truly outstanding and exceeded all expectations. The hotel perfectly combines modern luxury, comfort, and an unbeatable location right in the heart of Madrid. What made this experience exceptional was the remarkable staff, especially Esteban, Juan, and Pablo. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were simply outstanding. From the very first moment, they made me feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was perfect. Their positive attitude, efficiency, and sincere hospitality reflect the highest standards of service. The rooms are stylish, spotless, and extremely comfortable, with excellent soundproofing despite the central location. The atmosphere of the hotel is vibrant yet relaxing, and everything is managed with great care and precision. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madrid, whether for business or leisure. A special thank you again to Esteban, Juan, and Pablo for making my stay memorable — they are a true asset to the hotel. I will definitely return.

“Beautiful CR7 Pestana Marid”

The best

Very beautiful boutique hotel right in centro Madrid great location. Rooms are so nice, clean and romantic. Breafasts are very good. All staffs are quite nice and helpful. We love this hotel and have stayed here 3 times and would come back this hotel again once we are in Madrid

“Madrid’s cozy & ambient city center hotel”

The best

Situated in Gran Via, the very center of Madrid capital, is a very cozy & modern hotel, close to a all city’s activities. Hisrorical sites, museums, painting exhibitions are nearby. Close to night life in chueca neighborhood and just a few minutes to Sol. As Almodóvar famous actrices says “En Madrid nunca es tarde”. I hope you will enjoy your stay as we did!
