Petit Palace Alcalá

Breakfast was excellent.

A huge thank you to Mariano! He made our stay at Petit Palace Alcalá 10/10. Madrid can be tough with a dog, but Mariano treated our pup like royalty with a bed and premium food. He was more helpful than any other staff member we encountered anywhere, offering great local tips and keeping an eye on our dog’s well-being while we were out. The service is on a true professional level!

Came to new year’s celebration from Puerto Rico. Strategically located in the Center of Madrid. Great staff. Mariano at front desk exceeded our expectations with his attentions like, taxi reservations, room needs and city recommendations, always with the best attitude. Definitely a great host. Will visit again. As a recommendation, there was mold in the shower. Besides that the rooms were comfortable and spacious for a family of 4.

Location, atmosphere, clean rooms, stuff are excellent. Manuel and Vicente are very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast has a variety of a choice and the view from dining area is excellent. I highly recommend this hotel. I am from Country Georgia, Tbilisi

The hotel is perfectly located for many of Madrid's popular visitor attractions and landmarks and was excellent value for the price. Almost every location, landmark and area we wanted to visit was within a 10-20 minute walk. And the stop for the airport express bus was a leisurely 10 minutes stroll away. Our room was clean and tidy and appeared to have been renovated relatively recently. All the staff were welcoming and very helpful. We had a problem with a broken bed when we arrived, but this was resolved quickly and very much to our satisfaction with the staff going 'above and beyond'! The breakfast room, located on the 5th floor was tastefully decorated and furnished and the floor to ceiling windows provided spectacular views of the architectural splendor of the impressive buildings across the street. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious, fresh food to suit all tastes. The breakfast staff were welcoming and kept replenishing all the food options whilst clearing away the tables, so no waiting around. Check in and check out was hassle-free. Only negatives I can think of were that the corridors were in need of a bit of a refresh in terms of decorating. But were all kept clean and tidy. The two elevators are small, with room for max 4 people at a squeeze. But as there are only 12 floors we never had to wait more than a minute or two. Overall I would say this hotel offers excellent value, given its prime location and breakfast room and food on offer would be hard to beat at this price range.

We stayed at the Petit Palace Alcala hotel for six nights. Our double room and bathroom were clean and quite spacious. The location of the hotel was great with many shops, restaurants and tourist attractions within walking distance. The buffet breakfast was very good. A nice variety of hot and cold options. The only negative point were the coffee machines. We found the coffee lukewarm. It would be helpful if hot milk was available and perhaps hot coffee pots. All the staff were friendly especially Mariano at Reception. He provided excellent customer service and was very helpful to my mother and me. He is a great asset to the hotel. We had an enjoyable stay in Madrid and would definitely stay at this hotel again.
