“Excellent experience”

The best

The hotel is located near where everything is happening in Madrid, just a couple of minute's walk away from Gran Via, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and other points of interest. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Victoria, Pablo and Sérgio stood out among them. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable; the shower is excellent. The breakfast is delicious and varied. I want to stay with them next time I'm in Madrid.

“Perfect Hotel stay”

The best

From the start of our visit to the end, all of the staff we had contact with were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly positioned for visiting many places in Madrid whether walking or using a bus. Our room was very comfortable, clean and bright. The self service breakfast was a highlight, I have never seen such a wide and diverse selection of food, there seems to be every taste catered for. Would definitely recommend and would use this hotel again should we return to Madrid

“Great location and comfortable stay!”

The best

This excellent family friendly hotel was perfect for our stay in Madrid. We traveled for Christmas with two teens. Clean, comfortable and with a great breakfast, this location is easy walking distance to the bus and metro and a shortish walk to all the major sites. Can’t recommend it enough.

“Lovely Hotel in Madrid”

The best

We loved our stay at the Petit Palace Santa Barbara in Madrid. This is a very nice hotel in a great location just a few steps away from the Metro. Our room was located in the front of the building with a small balcony overlooking the plaza. The hotel staff were very accommodating answering many questions from us. The breakfast was also very good. We have stayed at this hotel several times and will do so again when we return to Madrid.

A very good hotel—clean and with excellent staff. The breakfast was great, offering all the food and sweets you can imagine. The hotel is located in the center of Madrid, and all major attractions are within walking distance. I’m very glad I chose this hotel.

“Good hotel, great location.”

The best

Good quality hotel in an excellent location, only 100m from Alonso Martinez metro. The neighbourhood is quite “high end” and bars and restaurants quite pricey, though you get the associated feeling of quality and safety. If you want cheap food and drink there is a 100 montaditos next door. If you want a leisurely stroll it is about a 20 minute walk to Gran Vía. Otherwise just use the metro. We were initially daunted but found the metro easy to use. Plenty of machines - buy a card for €2.50 then load it up with tickets in multiples of 10 for about €7.30. Travel anywhere for effectively 73 cents, including switching lines, providing you dont exit the station. The hotel staff were faultless and very helpful. Particularly good features were the bathrooms, the breakfasts and the availability of a luggage room for your check out day.
