“No air con but still a great stay .”
Stayed here last week and it is a beautiful hotel and pleasant staff who tried to help if they could etc. We discovered we had no air conditioning in our room as only the heating would work and were told cold air could not be put on as it was controlled by the hotel . It was a warm week as temperatures outside were showing as high 20s and coming from Ireland this was quite warm for my husband and I . We were given a fan which did help . I think when a hotel states in its website there is air con it should be working all year round if that’s what the guests want . We always book a hotel based on there being air con if it’s a warm country. The hotel however was really clean and adequate breakfast, the scrambled egg was particularly lovely and not all dry like other places I’ve stayed . Black tea bags were however never replenished and that’s all I’d drink as I don’t do coffee in the morning. Had to ask and the assistant just handed me one teabag and never bothered to stock the box up on the counter with more black breakfast teabags . If I wanted another cup of tea I would have had to ask again . I would have liked to have sat out in the courtyard part for breakfast too but there was heaters on all over it so too warm . The dining room tables are very close too so feels a bit too close for comfort. Would definitely stay there again as still loved it and great location and maybe just firm pillows would help too for a better nights sleep . The hotel is a beautiful style inside and reminds me of a hotel in Morocco I stayed in before . I have just taken one star of because of the air conditioning not been turned on .
“Fantastic location with excellent staff”
Great location with welcoming staff and very clean. We had a lovely stay in a beautiful city and were made very welcome
“Not satisfactory”
Our double room (207) was unusual: it had bunk beds which made it look cheap, more like a hostel, and it had a low ceiling. There was no coffee machine in the room, and we were charged for coffee in the common area. There is no toilet brush, a big problem if you travel as a couple. When telling the reception employee this was not ok, he said I should call for housekeeping after using the toilet. Left me speechless. I've stayed here before but these were not an issue 2 years ago. For a 4* hotel they should do better
“Amazing stay in the best location in Seville”
We stayed here for 4 nights for a city break and the hotel was amazing. All the staff were so attentive and friendly and it was immaculate. It had a nice small cosy feel to it and the layout was really nice. The location is first class and no more than a 10-15 minute walk to all sights. Bars and restaurants no more than a 5 minute walk away. We had a double bedroom which overlooked the church bells and a little street. The breakfast was really nice with so much choice and we sat outside every morning which was a lovely start to the day. The only drawback was the early chiming of the church bells and the early recycling collection starts but we were staying in a city so only to be expected. I would certainly recommend it.
“Excellent stay”
This was a very positive hotel experience. I will recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Seville, and I would definitely love to stay here again if I'm lucky enough to have another opportunity to visit Seville. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The only thing I didn't like was that the bathroom door was a glass door that didn't completely click shut. I like it when hotels have spas and a pool but given their city centre location this was not possible so just be aware. Despite that, I would choose this hotel again. The staff were super attentive and helpful, and even came to find me to return an earring I had inadvertently left behind after check-out when I came back to get the suitcases. By name, I remember Gemma and Eve as giving excellent service, but every member of staff was great. One thing to add is that staying in this part of Seville was perfect because everything we wanted to do was within walking distance, and even just wandering around randomly would take you to something delightful. There were dozens of places to eat within a 5-minute walk, And if that was too far away, there was a small restaurant literally opposite the hotel as well as a convenience store.
“Fantastic hotel in the heart of the old town”
Fantastic hotel in a great location in the city centre able to navigate all attractions with ease on foot . Room was comfortable and bathroom spacious with a rainfall shower . Spotlessly clean . Lovely reception area with water and cakes to access if needed . Breakfast was fabulous lots to choose from we sat in the courtyard which had heaters as weather was a little cool . Staff friendly nothing was to much trouble . Good value for money. The only suggestion I would make as our room looked into the street would be to bring earplugs especially if you are a light sleeper or ask for a quiet room when booking .
