Verified reviews from real guests who have already stayed here.
Great pool and other recreational facilities, overall well-maintained.
Good deal considering the amenities provided, especially the pool.
Some issues with room service and maintenance reported, but overall acceptable.
Rooms were generally comfortable but lacking in amenities like washing machines.
Satisfactory stay with significant issues needing addressing, especially cleanliness.
Very remote area; difficult access to local attractions without a car.
“Disgusting Horrible Damp HAIRY”
If your ENGLISH do not book this hotel. Arrived to be greeted with rudeness. Hotel is ran down/falling apart. Rooms are damp/ hairy pillows/ hairy mattresses, doors do not lock! Looks like the doors have been kicked in. Got switched rooms twice with the same thing in each room. Was charged for 4 nights when stayed for two before being moved hotels. If you want to go anywhere you will need a CAR location is in the middle of no where with no shops around. I repeat this is the most foul place I have ever stayed!!
“Very tranquil place to stay for a few days”
Had no breakfast was a bit expensive
The sun beds were uncomfortable some were quite worn out and the beds a bit too soft for my liking there was also a not very pleasant smell in the bathroom coming from the drainage somewhere either taps or bidet
“Learning experience for things to double check before booking a self catering hotel again”
The pool was open all day, and children entertainment was not too bad
Really disappointed that after unpacking with a family of 6 as the weather got hotter, we noticed the air con didn’t work at all, there was no cooker considering it was a self catering holiday there was limited cooking options, the garden had ho enclosure so our toddler was not safe with doors open on the ground floor. No shops close by and was all within driving distance.
“Ok for short stay.”
Firstly you need a car. It is closer to Gibraltar than Malaga. Secondly you need to be able to walk. There are no lifts and you may be upstairs with great views or below ground level with no view. Thirdly in low season reception is closed between 3pm & 5pm behind locked gates so no point in arriving between these times. Bring your own tea towel, toaster, cork screw, sunbed towels and toilet paper. It says towels and bedding changed every 4/5 days but this is not our experience. After the 6th day we asked for a change during our 2 week stay and had to fetch and carry our selves. It would appear if you do stay for 1 week you will not get a change. On a positive side room was basic, uncluttered, minimalist. Basically clean BUT warning ⚠️ the kettle does not switch off automatically, it needs to be unplugged. Very dangerous in my opinion.
“Holiday review”
Hotel was nice food was over priced and horrid rooms weren’t cleaned and no new Towels for full week staff rude most but not all shop poor nearly empty and hotel was very far from any amenities ie food or shops need taxi 12 euro each way to get to closet food or shop
“Fabulous stay!”
We stayed at Pierre et Vacances Resort Terrazas Costa del Sol for 4 nights while attending a family wedding nearby, and it was the perfect choice for our family of 5! Our apartment was just the right size with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a sofa bed, plus a fully equipped self-catering kitchen with all the essentials (plates, cookware, etc.). We loved having a beautiful balcony to sit out on, overlooking the stunning pool area. The pool itself was a highlight – well maintained and with a poolside bar serving drinks, snacks, and light lunches. The pizzas and nachos were especially delicious! We also tried the breakfast buffet one morning – although there was no live cooking station, it was still very enjoyable with a good selection. The grounds are beautifully kept, and the views of the Rock of Gibraltar are just breathtaking. A special mention to the reception team – we checked in at 1am, and there was friendly staff available to help us, which made things so easy after a long journey. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend for families looking for comfort, space, and great facilities!
