The best

The villa was very nice. We received warm and helpful welcome from Ted who was happy to help with any queries throughout the week. The location is easy to access from the airport and easy to get into Alicante and nearby towns. Supermarket in nearest town is 15 minute drive. The villa is spacious and around the pool are multiple seating areas to track the sun/shade throughout the day. The pool was clean throughout our stay. Bathrooms were clean and showers hot (although sometimes hot water stopped temporarily, presumably due to water pressure issues) Beds were comfortable and air con helped keep us at a good temperature. We did appreciate the generosity of seating areas, towels, books and pool inflatables. Overall we really enjoyed our villa stay.

To be improved

The upstairs bedroom has no door- not overlooked but open to downstairs areas. The villa has the feel of an Airbnb - we definitely felt that we were staying in someone else’s home. I think that as a holiday rental it would benefit from an ‘edit’ of the personal effects and abundance of crockery and cutlery which took up a lot of room in the kitchen. Additionally, for a summer stay we would have preferred a lightweight duvet (bed made with a 13.5tog) and perhaps choice of pillows to sleep on rather than the huge memory foam pillows, or feather pillows provided. Villa absolutely requires a car as the only way to get to anything from the villa is by road.

The best

The house is fantastically well equipped, with all the linen, towels, kitchen equipment etc. There is even a UK/EU plug adapter and a UK multi-way extension if you need it.

To be improved

The drive is long and narrow, you have to reverse down it if you want to park on the property rather than on the road. The upstairs master bedroom has no door separating it from the stairs (and downstairs).

The best

The property was well equipped and very comfortable for a great holiday. It had a lovely pool, lots of outdoor seating and a great housekeeper called Ted who went far and beyond to make our stay perfect .

To be improved

There was nothing to dislike about the property.
