“100/10 recommend!”
I stayed at Pineda Park from 1st -7th September with my boyfriend, I’m 19 and he’s 20. The weather was great! We were planning on getting an uber/bolt from Reus airport to the hotel but there were none available at all so please be aware of that! Love holidays was offering us €60 EACH for a bus transfer to our hotel which we didn’t get as we had planned to get a taxi. When we got outside the airport, there was a bus direct to La Pineda parked outside, they didn’t take card though so had to go into the airport to get some out. It was about €4 for 2 tickets. (On our way back to the airport, they did take card but it’s still recommend taking cash to make sure) We arrived at the hotel at 1pm, the man on reception was very kind and accommodating, Hotel check in was 5/6pm but he said our room will be ready in an hour, so if you’re early they will most likely prioritise your room before others to get you checked in. We dropped our luggage off and explored the local area. Our hotel suite was amazing! It was so open and spacious, we couldn’t believe it for the price. Lots of the reviews said to only get a pool facing room but we had street facing and it was beautiful. There was no direct sun on our balcony but it was still sunny, bright and warm, i’ll attach some photos. Balcony was huge aswell, with a table and chairs. There was 2 bathrooms both with a toilet and shower, 2 rooms one with two single beds and our double room. The bed was SO comfy we had been travelling for 15 hours and we fell asleep for about 4 hours as soon as we lay down. Our bed was two singles pushed together and after a few nights i kept falling down the crack between them but at first they were very very shoved together, to the point i didn’t even realise it was two singles. Aircon in room too and it worked fine. Lots of the reviews said there was an issue with toilet roll. We had 1 roll in each bathroom which lasted us fine but i imagine with a bigger family it’d maybe be an issue, however we did get some more rolls on cleaning day & i’m sure you could go to the front desk and request some if necessary. There’s a few bus shops that give you very good information about bus routes & times to local places and Barcelona. 100% recommend getting a bus pass it, you only need one as if you can tap once for each person. It was €4 for the card and €6/7 euros for 10 trips which is very good value. We also got the bus to Barcelona for the day, about €20 cash each way per person, definitely worth going but it was quite stressful trying to find the bus on the way back as we had got off at the wrong stop going in so didn’t know where it picked up from, so if you do go to Barcelona, stay on the bus until you’re by the central square. It was 2 & 1/2 hours each way so it was a long day but worth it. You get a little washing up pack in your room too with a sponge, cloth and washing up liquid to get you started. Ice cube trays in the freezer. The hotel was very large and open, with a games room, other facilities like a games room with a pool table (€2) and some arcade games etc. Connected was a bar/restaurant, the cocktails were a little pricey maybe €8 ish euros, it was £12.20 for a cocktail and a pint, i think a pint was €4, which is still overall cheaper than in the UK. The evening events were fun, we played (and won) the bingo along with kahoot night. (and won that too😎) I was a bit scared that the area would be a bit dead especially for a young couple but it was lovely!! Lots of local restaurants and a strip with all your typical coastal shops selling bracelets, sunglasses, arcades etc. The beach was lovely with lots of toilets and showers available and even some restaurants/bars on the beach front. We went to Salou for one day and 100% preferred La Pineda over Salou, it was rowdy, rammed with people and tacky overall. We even saw a poo in the sea… La Pineda was much nicer so if you’re stuck between the two places i’d definitely recommend la pineda especially as this hotel was SO much nicer than any Salou options and cheaper! Lots of local supermarkets, we used Charter as i saw another review promoting it suggested it was the same price as aldi/lidl. I can’t really comment as i live at home and don’t do the food shop😂. It was a good price though, quite a big store and has everything you would really need. In conclusion the hotel was wonderful! Staff were all great and didn’t speak to any who didn’t speak english. The rooms are incredible and amazing value for money! Couldn’t recommend it more
“Great family break in Spain”
We had a lovely stay in this apartment. It was a spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit with a kitchen, living area, and a huge balcony — perfect for relaxing. The apartment was very clean and relatively up-to-date, making it a comfortable base for our holiday. The only downside was that our room wasn’t ready on arrival at 12 noon. After being up since 2 am, we were eager to settle in. After speaking to the rep, we learned that check-in is normally at 5 pm, but Jet2 guests are allowed to check in at 2 pm, which was a relief. The pool was clean and well-maintained, and the bar served great food. Sunbeds were always available, which made poolside lounging easy. The location is convenient for visiting PortAventura and Salou. While eating out options were limited in the immediate area and most restaurants focused on fish, local supermarkets were handy for fresh bread and other essentials. We especially enjoyed visiting the nearby Aquopolis waterpark, which was within walking distance. Having unlimited access meant we went four times during our stay, and the small lockers were just €9. On the walk there we passed an amazing ice-cream shop defiantly worth visit extremely cheap at 3 euros We also took a trip to Port Aventura — it was busy and manic but a fantastic day out — as well as excursions to Salou and Tarragona. Tarragona’s shopping center was particularly impressive. Overall, the apartment was clean, spacious, and well-located. It provided a comfortable base for exploring the area and enjoying a fun, active holiday.
“Great place for couples families or groups of friends I’ve been here with all of these and love it”

“Lovely holiday once again at Pineda Park”
Lovely holiday once again at Pineda Park, it's the 3rd time for our family to stay here, 2 adults & 3 kids now aged 18, 15 and 12. Apartments are always extremely clean and well equipped with comfortable beds. Only about 25 mins transfer from Reus airport. The pool area is very nice and safe for families young and old. I would ask if it was possible to get more umbrellas for around the pool area as relatively small amount of umbrellas for the number of beds and in extreme heat we needed them! The other thing at the pool is that people put towels on the beds with umbrellas and then leave them unoccupied for hours, someone should be monitoring this I feel. Kids loved the foam party at the pool! The bar area is lovely and clean. They have a good enough menu at the bar, but food is just OK with very little gluten free options (there was a gluten free pizza). However nearby are plenty restaurants with good variety. A lovely supermarket "Michaelangelo" nearby has everything you could need. There is nice family-friendly entertainment at night at the bar, such as bingo, quizzes & Karaoke, also some live music. La Pineda is a very family friendly area, no loud pubs or nightclubs, it seems most things close down around midnight. There is a lovely beach approx 5 minutes walk away from the apartments. We went to Aquopolis water park (approx 15 mins walk from the apartments) for 1 day which we enjoyed....we got a fast pass for 3 of the family which made the day very expensive but it was worth it to escape the queuing in the heat. The restaurant food at the park was not good and extremely expensive. We also visited Portaventura theme park in the evening/night, it was quite crowded but we enjoyed it, again we bought fast passes for some rides as queues for some rides were over 1 hour, so it was costly..... if you go at night wait on for the parade & fireworks.... we still got a public bus (Bus Plana no. 74) after show finished. We also took a bus trip to Cambrils (leaves from the local Busplana office close to the apartments- buy the multi trip card). Cambrils is very pretty with nice shops and restaurants. The only real negative of the holiday was the mosquitoes, so bring good repellant and treatment for bites with you especially at night! All in all a lovely holiday at Pineda Park.
“We can't wait to go back”
We absolutely loved our stay in Pineda Park in July. The apartments are fantastic, the pool area is always clean and has plenty of sunbeds available, the food in the bar is great, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!
“A really relaxing family holiday”
We've just arrived home from 9 nights at the Pineda Park apartments. This was our first self catering holiday in a long time, so I was slightly apprehensive about the children not having access to unlimited food and drink, but I genuinely enjoyed this option so much more. We travelled with Jet 2 and it was fine. Reus airport is small but so well managed and the process through customs was swift. The transfer was only 25 minutes; we were the second drop off after La Hacienda hotel. As a family of four [2 adults and 2 teenagers], we opted for the two bedroom apartment with pool view and I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were extremely clean, spacious and well-equipped. The balcony was huge and it had all of the amenities you need to cook your meals. Our aircon wasn't working when we got there so we went down to reception to report it. Within ten minutes, a member of staff arrived and fixed it. This was at 11pm at night so we were quickly reassured that the service would be very effective throughout our stay and it was. The pool area is clean and very well maintained. It isn't difficult to get sunbeds and we didn't have any issues with mosquitos. The arcade is a bit pricey [2 Euros for a game of pool] and the outdoor pool table is a bit rubbish, but we really enjoyed the bingo, quiz and Kahoot games in the evenings. The staff work really hard to make it fun but there's no pressure to take part in anything. There's also a great selection of books in the library. Food wise, we cooked our breakfast and lunch in the room every day then ate out in the evenings. One night we ate at Casa Nostra which is directly opposite the street you walk out of as you reach the prom [Casser d'Emili Vendrell]. Despite not having a reservation, we got a table at about 7:45pm and the food was good. It's not cheap to eat out, it averaged about 110 Euros per night with drinks, but it's good to try the local food and most of the customers are Spanish which is always a good sign. It's nice to just wander during the day and choose where you fancy eating. Casa Nostra also have a take away pizza place [closer to the hotel, on the street mentioned above] and these were so tasty! Again, a bit pricey [15 Euros each] but a great option if you don't want a restaurant meal. We had free access to the local waterpark as part of our package. It's about a 20 minute walk down the promenade so turn right at Casa Nostra and just keep going. You get a band when you arrive and you need to keep this on if you wish to return; you still have to queue up outside but it moves quickly. The catch is that the sunbeds cost 7 Euros each! By lunch time, the queues for the rides are huge as it's a popular place with the locals but it's definitely worth a visit. My tip would be to go early and find a spot on the grass and take a packed lunch, with plenty of water. As mentioned in previous reviews, toilet rolls are very limited but reception will supply more so just ask. I would suggest taking extra bin bags too. The supermarket Michaelangelo is good, and this is where we went on the first day, but if you go further down the promenade you'll find one called Charter. This was huge and more like an Aldi/Lidl so a lot cheaper! I would have given this resort 4.5 if that was an option; the only reason for not giving it full marks was the cost of the drinks in the bar. All in all, it was a great holiday and I would definitely recommend coming here for a relaxing break with your family.
