“Would probably not recommend based on the above, though the price was reasonable for the apartment size. Location is cen”
Probably the least memorable stay on our 3 weeks in Spain. We didn't plan to stay in Manresa, but had a last minute change of hearton our way to Montserrat. The host was responsive once I got a hold of him, but we were stuck waiting for his response while having difficulty with the parking instructions.
Cleanliness, though there were clear instructions on how to leave the premises clean when checking out. The apartment looked as if someone was living in out and was not cleaned at all. Dust all over the floors. The shower door and walls had a lot of black mold. The apartment was large with one A/C unit so it got quite hot. But the main issue was the kitchen, which had a saloon door so there was no airflow. It was so hot that we couldn't use the kitchen. We stayed one night only, which happened to coincide with a really large street festival. The host only notified us when we arrived, although it would have been good to know considering we were traveling with kids. Just a note to other travelers, Manresa is a ghost town until 8pm. There was no food to buy in the afternoon. We decided to get groceries and make dinner, which was not fun in the sauna kitchen. Also, looks like a cat typically lives there for those with allergies. Looks like a cat door in the kitchen cupboard.
