“Beautiful and clean apartment, but terribly noisy place”

The best

The apartment is located in the very center of the city. All sights are located a maximum of 20-25 minutes on foot from it. There is no possibility to park a car nearby. The apartment is equipped with everything you need except oven and dishwasher, but everything else is available. It is very clean, tastefully arranged, fresh and neat. The hostess is very responsive and gives recommendations for dining around.

To be improved

There is no soundproofing. The noise is around the clock. Noise can be heard from the street and the restaurants that are located below the apartment, as well as from the neighbors and from the church that is opposite the building. In two out of three evenings, we fell asleep around 3-4 at night. For the last night we bought earplugs from the pharmacy for €3.50. They work! The only salvation for this apartment is to replace the windows with sound-insulating windows with double or triple glazing and sound insulation from the neighbors.

“Overlooking the church at Plaza de San Miguel”

The best

Really well located, directly above all the restaurants and bars at Plaza de San Miguel, and overlooking the church. Short walk to the Mesquita and other tourist attractions. Round the corner from Plaza de las Tendillas and all the shopping nearby. Cute little flat with everything you’d need for a short stay. Complementary confectionary was very welcome! The owner is very communicative and helpful.

To be improved

Being right above all the restaurants and bars meant that it was very noisy until quite late at night. The bathroom is also on the small side, especially the shower/“tub”.

The location was great, central to most of the incredible sights of Cordoba, all basically within walking distance, even the bus and train station.

To be improved

On Friday evening there was quite a bit of noise from the outdoor tables of the restaurants below, but that couldn't have been helped.
