“Fantastic apartment on the beach for a family vacation”

We had a brilliant time at this beach apartment, the host was very responsive and the apartment was lovely and clean with three large bedrooms. The location was better than expected and right on the beach (El Cristo - gorgeous beach and nice and quiet when we visited), with a very large balcony which had both covered and uncovered areas to suit all our family. We travelled with a newborn baby and a toddler and we were all very comfortable in the space. The pool is fantastic and on most occasions we had it to ourselves. It is about a 5/10 minute walk Estepona port which has a collection of restaurants/shops/bars and I would say 30 minute walk to 'central' Estepona town itself. Its a very nice walk through the port and down the beach promenade. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Estepona.

To be improved

The property is stated as accessible and on the ground floor, however, whilst the apartment is on the ground floor - to get to the block there are 20 steps down from the car park or 20 steps up from the beach. This property is not suitable for anyone in a wheelchair, with mobility issues or with strollers which cannot be lifted down the steps. We managed with two strollers but it became a little tiresome carrying the strollers up and down the steps everyday. Hiring of travel cot was very expensive. Karin the host did kindly try to negotiate a better rate with the property management company but it was still too expensive for us - so we brought our own which was no issue, expect extra luggage!

“Superb”

The best

Amazing apartment overlooking the beach. Huge terrace where we spent most of our time. Apartment was beautifully decorated and it had everything we needed. Pool was great and the gardens were beautifully kept. Would highly reccomend!

To be improved

It would have been nice to use the BBQ but this didn't matter too much.

Great location with a large terrace over looking the beach. Plenty of sun and shade. Beautifully presented apartment. Swimming pool was an added bonus.

To be improved

One bed pillow per person provided (plus a cushion without a pillow case). Perhaps more tea cups / mugs would be good to take full advantage of the dishwasher provided.

No English channels on tv. A pipe noise from the main bathroom, could be heard in the bedroom, but didn't report it.

The property was perfect. A beautiful, fully equipped apartment…. With everything that we needed. In a beautiful location with a fantastic view. I was in direct contact with the owner throughout our stay and she recommended many local eating places.

To be improved

The main bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. I have spoken with the owner and she is addressing this.

“Fantastic sea view and comfortable apartment”

The best

The location of the apartment is fantastic. Beautiful sea view. The apartment was very comfortable and it was wonderful to stay on the balcony. The host is very friendly and approachable and gave us advice for restaurants. The beds are nice. We will definitely come back here.

To be improved

One of the toilets was clogged. This was resolved within 2 hours. Perfect service from the host.
