“A really enjoyable break in a lovely apartment in a quiet but well serviced resort.”
The best

The apartment is in a really good location in the quiet resort of Playa del Cura. It’s a few metres from the beach and 100 metres to the nearest restaurants, bars and a good Spar shop. The pool area is beautiful, with enough sunbeds (and no-one reserving them), the sun is on the pool area for the day until it goes behind the mountain in early evening. The apartment is very well equipped, no air conditioning but ceiling fans and an extra electric fan do the trick. The beds are very comfy and the bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage. We enjoyed the outside seating area both during the day and also in the evenings (it doesn’t get the evening sun). We enjoyed the walk round the coast via Tauro beach, Amadores and on to Puerto Rico. The buses from the resort are really efficient and inexpensive - we enjoyed days out to Puerto de Mogan and Maspalomas. Marina was a wonderful host and very attentive. If you after a quiet break away - with busier resorts close by - we would definitely recommend this apartment and would love to return.

The best

The location is beautiful right close to the beach and in a very well kept and maintained community.

To be improved

The boiler was leaking badly. We think the owners knew about it because they had put a container under the boiler in the boiler cupboard to collect the water. The owners live upstairs and when it happened the first time they are the ones who showed us the container and emptied it. Several times we were woken in the middle of the night by the sound of water, and found the kitchen completely inundated, the first time I slipped badly and nearly fell. Considering this is advertised as a luxury apartment and it is not cheap, we felt it wasn't fair that we had to get up in the middle of the night several nights in a row to mop and clean and dry the kitchen, so we asked for compensation. We were told that no, because it wasn't their fault. They said they would give us a discount on our next stay, but given how it went this time there won't be a next stay.

The best

Excellent place to stay on Holiday in Gran Canaria. The Apartment is very clean, spacious all amenities provided, ideal little garden to seat and enjoy the evening. Just a few steps from the apartment is the swimming Pool and very close La playa del cura beach. Fantastic communication with the Owners! Would recommend this place to everyone and for sure will be back there once again 😊
