“Not a good experience”

The position was okay, very close to a bus stop and a metro station, and it was quite easy to reach the centre and the bus station.

Unfortunately, a lot of things. The room was very dirty: the floor and the sheets were stained. We found someone's underwear (not ours, of course) hanging in the bathroom, which gave us the feeling that nobody had checked or cleaned the apartment before our arrival. The deposit refund was late, but nobody warned us, and when we contacted them about the delay, they only answered with an automatic message that didn't respond to our questions. They only did it when we contacted Booking to exhort them to return the deposit.

“There was nothing positive about this accommodation. · Cons: To start off, we couldn't get into the accomdation, and the instructions and code that we were given were wrong. The place was very dirty, with dirty sheets that clearly had been slept in before us. When I contacted the owner, they said they would charge €5 for new sheets and towels. The pictures are very different from what is advertised. 4 days after our stay, the owner eventually messaged back, saying that had brought us clean sheets even though we had checked out. When trying to get into the property and ask for clean sheets, both myself and booking.com couldn't get hold of the owner... the phone they give doesn't go through to anyone. To top it all off, they charge a £100 damage deposit, which took over two weeks to get back. I'm not sure why booking.com still allow them to advertise on their site. Don't bother...worse place I have ever stayed and very overpriced for what it is.”

“Good value for money and a positive experience despite the comments here”

Value for money & cleanliness - despite all the negative reviews here, the apartment was clean and had everything we needed for the few days of our last minute budget stay Location - 10 min walk from the beach, grocery stores nearby. Quiet. Malaga city centre about 35 min walk, or plenty of buses. 25 min to the airport by bus Size - the studio is really quite spacious Communication - again, the reviews here made us quite nervous but the communication was great. Fast, clear instructions for check-in and we also got our deposit back in exactly 2 weeks as stated.

To be improved

Kitchen equipment - very basic and a few key items missing such as cutting knives, cooking spoons, only super small pots available. Shower - we had plenty of hot water, despite the comments here, but the shower is really super small and with each shower the water was all over the bathroom due to the insufficient size of the shower curtain/shield Wear and tear - the whole place could use some tlc, eg. redecorating
