Playitas Villas - Sports Resort

It was busy but a great selection

Loved Playitas - we stayed in villas which were lovely and spacious with own pool. Short 10min walk to main resort. Classes were excellent as were facilities overall. Fabulous relaxed pool near the restaurant/bar overlooking sea. Great variety at buffet and good quality and healthy food overall. The resort is well maintained and clean. The reception staff, especially Anny, could not have been more helpful. Bonus to be beside the sea with a lovely walk/prom alongside. Will be back!

This is our second time in this hotel. We are a family of 5 (with three school aged children) We like travelling as a family as this is the first time we ever come back to the same place again. This hotel for sure has a great manager who is very visible throughout the day. As there 5 of us, we do not often stay at the hotels, because we need to have 2 rooms, most of the time they are not connected. Here we have the luxury of staying at a villa and enjoy all the facilities the hotel has to offer. A few things stands out. 1. Facilities and equipment - not dated, modern, very well looked after. 2. Selection of activities. There are classes for all age groups and varying fitness level. You do not need to be a sports person or particularly fit to fully enjoy group classes. If you want to play tennis, golf, football, volleyball with your friends and family or even strangers, all you need to do is book and show up. 3. Quality and professionalism of instructors. I have done a fair bit of group classes before and know a lot depends on the energy of your instructor. Experience and ability is not enough. Special commendation goes to Jonna, Sophie and Elke. They are amazing, have lots of positive energy and are patient to the needs of their audience. My 13-yo daughter loved Jonna’s and Sophie’s classes in particular and for me it was important we could have this bonding time and she has positive role models right in front of her. Our whole family has also enjoyed aqua aerobics with Madonna - passionate, enthusiastic and fearless. You made us feel very much alive and fearless as well. 4 Quality of food. The menu is varied and healthy. While on a few occasions, the choice was somewhat limited, overall during our 12-day stay we had plenty to choose from. Special commendation goes to Diere who makes delicious curry. You can tell when someone likes to cook and feed people and takes pride in what they do. 5 Last but not the least: quality of customer service.

Great choice of food, sports facilities were excellent

Everything! We are a family of 2 adults and 3 kids and we stayed in a villa which was perfect for us. Comfortable space, great pool, in peaceful location. The facilities were excellent. We all enjoyed different classes, which were welcoming and led by friendly, experienced trainers. There were always plenty of sunbeds round the pool and there were plenty of sunny or shaded spots depending on your preference. I loved being so close to the sea for a morning swim. I have never returned to the same hotel before, but I am already planning out next family trip there and also can't wait to go solo too!
