Plaza de España Arenas

Originally booked this property, was then told over a month later that they have booked the property with somebody else and offered a different property (Calle Corsega 75), the other hotel looked nice in pictures and that’s it. On arrival the area it’s self wasn’t welcoming to tourists and was stared at constantly, in person the apartment had black marks all over the walls, on arrival we was told there was 2 toilets and found there was only 1, which didn’t flush and after contacting customer services they were trying to get us to fix it ourselves. We checked out within 2 hours and booked another hotel, we found the guest services to be very rude after telling them we are not staying there due to safety and hygiene and no apologies were offered as the bare minimum.

The water boiler was not working on the first two days, but the hosts came to fix it, and after that, everything worked well. The check-in policy is a bit limiting.
