The apartments are in a great location, centrally located with the main strip to the left or the old town to the right, if you enjoy shopping there is a Mango store just around the corner and the shopping centre with a larger range of stores including ZARA just up the small hill.
First impressions of the reception were really good, it looked modern and clean, we arrived at the apartments just after 13:00 and were greeted by very pleasant helpful staff and luckily our room was ready.
We were on the 3rd floor in a 1 bedroom apartment at the back of the complex, we had a lovely sea view which was unexpected, all the floors are accessible by lifts.
The complex is gated however the security gate at the side of reception could be opened manually without a key despite it being an electronic lock.
The rooms are a very good size, living area you had a large sofa/bed with table and chairs, within the room is the kitchen which is basic including a large fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, 2 x ring halogen/induction hob, plenty of crockery and utensils, recommend taking your own mug if you want a proper cuppa, there was a large TV in the room with 5 or 6 basic English channels
The bedroom was also a good size, the beds were very comfortable and the bedding was crispy clean which was made up every day, the bathroom was a shower over bath, but there was plenty of hot water with very good pressure, the towels were very good quality and changed daily as required, there was body wash and shampoo provided in dispensers.
The balcony was good enough for 2-3 people with cast iron furniture.
Although the rooms are adequate they do need a freshen up with updating here and there, there is also a distinct lack of plug sockets, we only located 4, and one of those was for the kettle and the other in the bathroom, thankfully we always take a multi socket extension cable to combat this, speaking to the manager on departure he did say they are due a refurbishment but couldn’t specify when. Also the rooms are not air conditioned, which is not a problem in March but would be an issue for us in Summer.
The pool area is quite compact but spotlessly clean, there is a bonus of a large sun terrace next to the pool area which we preferred, this had all day sun (when it appeared), the sun beds are comfortable and the pool towels that are provided are excellent.
Breakfast which is included has a very large choice and is very good, we had no complaints at all, there was nothing to fault, there was something for everyone.
The service at this hotel is exceptional, all the staff are very friendly, we had an issue at the beginning of our stay when it was quite cold
through the night, we went to reception to ask for an extra blanket and within 20 minutes someone had brought them to our room.
Overall we had a very enjoyable relaxing stay, I would definitely stay again if there was a refurbishment, however the price will probably reflect this.
