The furniture a little bit old

The wifi was horrendous and as I was there on a business trip it really affected the quality of my stay. It was impossible to get proper hot water from the coffee machine without getting dribbles of coffee in my tea, I would strongly suggest they offer a hot water boiler or samovar for guests who want to drink tea.

The hotel facilities are outdated. We had to change room on first night because the air-conditioning did not work. Even in the new room the air-conditioning temperature was not.low enough. The room thermostat was centrally controlled and not possible to adjust to comfort. Also room service (for food/breakfast) was non-existent.

It needs maintenance - it is very outdated and old. The WiFi was terrible. The kitchen has no kettle or utensils. The bathroom needs to be retiled - mould growing in the grout. We had a triple room - the door adjoining the bedroom and sleeper couch area was broken.

I didn't like the staff, especially one of the receptionist, the most. She had a quite bad attitude and even somehow rude. In the description of booking.com, the electric kettle was mentioned as one the room amenities. But there was no. I went to the reception and asked her with a smile. She treated me with a very bad temper and repeated very loudly "since Covid, I don't have any electric kettle!!!" And then she just left! I waited ia but as I was confused and I thought she left to check the back store or ask her boss. But a few minutes gone and she didn't show up!!!!! Another thing that I didn't like was their weird inconsistent calculation of cost while cheching in. When I was booking the room on booking.com, I selected a room which was for 2 persons, it was a double room. Then, I checked the price for 1 person was the same as 2 persons, only tax should be calculated per person while checking. So, I booked it and enter my name only as the price was the same. But when I was checking in, the reception asked us for 6 Euro per night for my husband as the extra charge, of course tax for 2 person too. But the extra 6 Euro per night was ridiculous as I checked before and I knew that basic price for 1 person or 2 persons should be the same. And the more weird part was that my friend who checked in the bect day with the same situation didn't get extra 6 Euro per noght charged!!!! All in all, in my opinion, it was not a 4 star hotel and definitely didn't worth the money.

The room could be cleaned better. The person on reception was not very friendly at check out. There is no point in having a kitchen area in the room as there are no cups, plates, glasses or cutlery in the cupboard.
