Pop Art, Dúplex coqueto en el corazón de Sevilla

Don’t know what’s happened to place since last reviews. I booked apartment based on the orebious reviews and pictures, but have to say living area was grubby not like the pictures. Sofa had been covered up with a blackout curtain taken from upstairs bedroom, this was hiding a large bleach stain , bad attempt to hide this ! rug was also stained , small cushions on sofa were dirty. Cupboard door on fridge unit did not fit correctly , Curtains in bedroom were dirty, as was rug , black spot stains on it . Shower fitment was broken , had to be hand held . Reported all this to manager to be told basics were all working properly and he had spilled cleaning fluid over sofa . He seemed to think this was acceptable. Just cover it up ,it not dirty!! Well sorry place was grubby, uncomfortable be in. Sofa needs dumping it’s very uncomfortable, cushions keep slipping forward when sat on ,leaving metal mechanism for sofa bed digging into your back . I paid 1440 euros for 5 nights for this apartment. Absolute daylight robbery for the condition of the apartment . We decided to leave one day early as Apartment was so uncomfortable and headed off to Cadiz to a lovely apartment a fraction of the cost . Exactly what I would have expected in Seville I have instigated a complaint with booking .com and await their response as obviously owner may not be aware on the state of the sofa , rugs curtains etc . We were visited by manager and a maintenance guy to be told he would waive parking fee as compensation, when I told him I was leaving a day early as we were not comfortable staying there he then asked me to leave 75 in cash for the parking . And called me a liar saying he had not said he would waive the parking fee. I honestly furious I paid so much money for this apartment to have him tell me there was nothing wrong with it. I expect some compensation as a gesture from owner and hope booking .com can assist with this . As I sure owner may

parking was a challenge

The showerhead was loose, mixed crockery and glasses. Leaving eas a faff. Needed to run downstairs to open the outerdoor then back up to leave the key whilst jamming outerdoor open. Similar situation eith leaving the garage; both could be easily solved by fitting an electronic lock which could be opened internally with a button.

There was a strange smell emitting from the bathroom. Like drain or floor that had dried acrid scent. I felt like getting the mop and bucket out. The shower head was limp and would not stand. The air-conditioning unit upstairs wasn't powerful enough for the heat of seville.
