“Fawlty towels”
The best

Great location. Guided tours for Alhambra leave from the hotel steps. Reception staff and particularly the manager are quite rude. His attitude seems to rub off on the staff. He literally threw my towel deposit back at me rather than hand it over in a civilised manner. A very “Basil Fawlty” experience. Bar staff were nice, polite and helpful as were cleaners. Room like a shoe box (prison cell), very dated and tired (not up to Premier Inn standards). Bar does not trust you to run a tab, must be paid immediately. Need cash deposit for pool towels. Breakfast OK, but no saucers for coffee. Cutting corners at every step. Definitely not four stars!

The best

Excellent location. Staff were very friendly. Right next to Alhambra. Public transport 100 metres down the road, accessing restaurants and tourist sites within the city of Granada. Great value for money. A view to die for. We watched the sunset on Granada. Tea and coffee facilities in the room!! Truly beautiful.

“Very good hotel with helpful staff, ideally placed for the Alhambra Palace”
The best

Good value for money. Good sized bedroom. Very attentive staff. We stayed at this hotel because we wanted to visit the Alhambra Palace which is 200M away. I didn't know at the time of booking, but our tour of the palace started from the hotel. Good sized swimming pool.

To be improved

The underground car park was the 'tightest' I have ever experienced. Not easy when you're driving a strange hire-car. There was only a poor buffet restaurant, and although freshly cooked food was available in the bar the menu was restrictive.
