The buffet was terrible. The lines for the elevators were always long. Don’t forget to bring you own pool towels, they don’t provide them.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful, the pools and the playground are good for kids, keeps them busy and entertained. It’s only a quick 20 minute walk to the town center with restaurants and shops. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful rest, this is not the right place for you. If you’re a family with kids, give it a try.

The pool was way too crowded in July, quite loud, as expected, as most of the vacationers are families with little kids. The food is quite mediocre. WiFi is spotty, if you plan to work. If you get to Denia (bus or train station) on a Sunday without a car, no taxis are available since there’s only 2 taxi companies in this small town and they don’t pick up the phone on Sundays. Make very careful arrangements beforehand or you’ll be stranded like us for a while. No shuttle services available, so the hotel can’t do much.

“If your childless AVOID”

On leaving I wrote this to the hotel but no reply. I am writing this after just checking out of Port Denia. For two nights we paid €540 plus €30 parking. As frequent travellers I can honestly say, hands down this is the worse hotel we've ever stayed in. You have crammed in so many people, that there are queues of more than 80 people every morning for breakfast. There are kids screaming everywhere. It's impossible to swim in the pool as it's full of very noisy children. There were no sunbeds so you couldn't even enjoy the facilities. There was a very noisy family of 5 next to our room that were in and out slamming doors & a guy poolside on a microphone at 8am.. on a Sunday! Needless to say, we were rudely awoken both days. We had very little sleep & had to go out for breakfast both days. Before I write a review I gave the hotel the opportunity to put this right & was completely ignored. I attached pictures and videos of receipts and queues. Avoid at all cost!!
