Port Vista Oro

I rarely write reviews, but I felt it was important to share our experience before others book. To start with the positives, the hotel itself was very clean and well maintained. The entertainment host and the bar staff were also genuinely friendly and welcoming, which was probably the most pleasant part of our stay. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. The food was particularly poor. There were only around six options available at any time and most dishes were lukewarm or cold. Considering the reviews we had read before arriving, this was quite surprising. The “all-inclusive” package also felt quite limited. There were very few drinks included for guests who don’t drink lager, and only the draft lager was part of the package rather than the bottled beers available behind the bar. The spirits were also kept out of sight under the counter, which made it difficult to know what options were available. The evening entertainment host was friendly and clearly tried to make guests feel welcome. However, the overall atmosphere felt more focused on local guests and most of the music and activities were in Spanish, which made it difficult for us to fully engage. Overall, the hotel seemed to cater mainly to a specific group of guests rather than a broad international mix. Because of this, it didn’t quite match the type of holiday experience we were expecting. Given the reviews we read before arriving, our stay felt very different from what we anticipated.

We stayed here in March 2026 and found it to be a really good option. Beds were comfy, the staff very friendly and welcoming. The hotel and surroundings felt safe to come and go any time of day or night. The included meals in our stay were a really good bonus. Food was plentiful and lots of options Would definately choose this place next time we are in Benidorm

This hotel is for the Spanish mostly and they are loud as we could hear them clearly in are room. The rooms were cleanest we’ve come across. The food was not that good and I’m pleased we only stopped 3 nights.

Nice hotel in the old town 5 minutes from the beach, the rooms are very clean with toiletries provided the pool area is clean , and the staff are very friendly I am full board but you can do all food options l am here at the minute eating lunch the food is very good with enough options to suit anyone I'm in room 111 on the first floor facing the pool. Enjoy

Stayed at Port Vista Oro for 3 nights with 4 friends to take in the delights of the Cheltenham Racing festival and this was our second visit to the hotel having stayed here for the same reason in 2025. We only had an option to book dinner bed and breakfast but were certainly not disappointed, the breakfast options were continental and cooked buffet style and were an excellent start to the day. We initially did not intend to take part in the evening meal but out of curiosity as well as a free upgrade to include free wine we visited on the first night and the variety and quality of the food was excellent. The bar prices at the hotel are very reasonable, 2 euros for a large wine which was of a good quality. Rooms albeit basic had every amenity you would need and it was cleaned daily to a very good standard. All things considered this hotel offers excellent value for money, all staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly and we will definitely be back in March 2027

14 nights here. Room ok. Never air con and heater Thankgod as was very cold a few days.Heaps of hot water and nice to have a bath and shower.all Staff lovely. We enjoyed the food 9 times out of 10. Although cold at times. Do have microwaves. Pool freezing as never gets the sun. Kids okay area 🤣 a swing and small climbing thing. Entertainment dire!! First guy ( English with perfect Spainish was brilliant with all the guests. Talented. Professional smart and real people person remembering everyone’s names and dancing with guests. Played some great games and bingo. 2nd guy omg!! Looks like he’s slept in his clothes! Same clothes for days and He stinks. Rude plays 99% Spainish songs which were crap even to the lovely Spainish guests. He needs to go! They need to dim the lights in this room!!! It’s so bright. Hard plastic chairs. Let’s the hotel down. It’s a big room. DO NOT except a quiet hotel! Never known such thin walls and between floors and I mean you can hear the conversation next door word for word .they allow groups of lads, and girls! Here Cheltenham week and next door playing loud music til 11pm then come in at 5am talking loudly until 6.30am when I banged on the thin wall. Also next door you have the school and they play our ALLDAY loud screaming kids this is just for your info so you know .
