Posada Casa Guadamillas

⭐ By far the best stop on our trip around Spain! The location was beautifully rural, surrounded by stunning scenery. The journey there was part of the fun — the roads in were amazing, full of twists, turns, and climbs that made the ride on our motorcycles unforgettable. Our host was incredibly welcoming and made our stay absolutely perfect. We enjoyed delicious food, comfortable rooms, and even had the pleasure of meeting another great couple from Portugal who were also staying there. I truly couldn’t have wished for a better stop. Highly recommended!

Beautifully restored posada on a mountainside in Cantabria overlooking the Soba Valley. Stunning views and complete peace, apart from the bells hanging from the necks of the cows passing by below your balcony. Very comfortable and impeccably clean. Delightful hosts. Great breakfast and they will also cook you dinner. Paradise. Will be back.

This was a superb stop over, the log fire with a glass of wine was so relaxing after a long days drive. Meals and presentation were excellent.

We loved everything, from the reception to farewell. The pousada is a lovely house in the middle of wonderful nature. The rooms are lovingly decorated, the bathroom is brand new, the shower is wonderful. The beds are super comfortable with exceptional pillows. Diner and breakfast were excellent ~prepared by the owners Pilar and Jesu and made with local ingredients. We had a after diner round at the fireplace.... What a pity we could not stay longer ! We will certainly come back again!

Posada Casa Guadamillas is a hidden treasure in the Cantabrian mountains, near La Gandera. The rooms are awesome ( beautiful colour scheme) and the bed is very comfortable. The whole place sparkles with cleanliness and friendliness. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. The owners provided us with a very appetising vegetarian option. It's not easy being veggie in Spain but nothing was too much trouble for these wonderful hosts. We were sad to leave and to say goodbye to new friends.

A beautiful, cozy place hosted by lovely couple. An awesome breakfast! Communication (our spanish is very limited) succeeded via Google Translator and other helpful guests.
