Quiet location. Very peaceful. Virtually no other options to eat or drink other than at the posada. Owners tried hard to be helpful and gave us an ‘early’ (?) breakfast at 08.00 The bed was fairly comfy.

To be improved

Was obviously ‘the’ place to go 20 years ago but the owners haven’t kept it up so now looking tired, but quite quirky. Food was not good - unless you like stewed beef cheeks and minced chicken shaped into a roll. We nearly fell over when we were charged 25 euros each for that meal. Wine provided was thin and watery. We’ve travelled rural Spain a lot so get what that entails but this was not great.

I loved this hotel and the owners made the experience more special. 15km off track but worth the effort.

New road leads to the quite village splendid place just a little far away from the motorway
