Hotel dimly lit and dark decor. Stair access only. Bar doesn’t open in evening (even Saturday in June). It was quite a trek to the main square for a drink but it is great along the river. Included breakfast very mediocre.

Very clean but basic hotel. Breakfast is included in the room rate but it is a very simple fare. The owner is very kind. A grat one night stop if you are in Sonsuegra to visit the windmills. Quyiet safe parking on all the streets.

“Comfortable lodging within walking distance of the bus station and windmills”

My plan was to visit the town of Consuegra which is well-known for its array of windmills and a castle on the nearby ridge. I had been to Consuegra almost 25 years... in the fog, during the winter, and wanted to see what the place looked like in milder temperatures. Anyhow, I found this place to say. It is not a difficult walk from the bus station and the town's main square... and it was quite easy to walk to the windmills as well. The hotel has a restaurant that is open for lunch (or at least that was the case when I was there in March.) Delicious food from La Mancha. A very nice lady working there also helped me check-in to the posada, so I had actually checked in at the bar in the restaurant. As to my room, it was very clean and quiet, modern but reflecting "older Spain". The bathroom appeared very chic and state-of-the-art. I enjoyed my stay there.

To be improved

I eventually figured things out. It seems that the doorway to the posada is located on the square. However, the doorway to the restaurant is located on the side street. In other words, if the one doorway does not work, try the other one around the corner. Nothing terrible.
