“Breakfast was fine, staff were brilliant. The bar wasn’t really a bar, it was a restaurant and the staff were clearly uncomfortable with people just having a drink. The restaurant was Michelin starred so that explains their approach. A facility to make tea or coffee in the room would have been great. BUT- the whole place has such a great faded grandeur ambience with lovely courtyards etc and the staff were all lovely in the hotel (the restaurant is a different enterprise) · Cons: See above”

The shower is uncomfortable, to get into the tub is dangerous and I don’t fit under a shower that is 1,50 high. Also no wifi!?!

“A Hidden Gem - Rustic Charm - Perfect”
The best

This is by far one of the best places I have ever stayed. A total rustic charm and by far the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. A pipping hot power shower was very welcome along with a good continental breakfast. The whole place had character at every turn. Simply perfect.
