“A relaxing stay in Santander”

The best

An exceptionally beautiful house with beautiful rooms. It is located in a quiet area in the outskirts of Santander, exactly as we had wished for. We recommend it!

“Terrible”

To be improved

This was the worst experience I ever had in Europe. This is the first station of our Camiño bike trip. We drove all the way from Lille and wasn’t able to do the check in at that time. We put the note that we’ll arrive very late, after 12, hotel confirm the order but later no one answer the door. We have to find a place at 1am and almost no hotel open at that time. The number is not working. No note left for us at the gate. The next day, the hotel still charge us full price with no communication. Cuz my card registered by Booking.com. We tried to connect, but got refused. This is the worst experience I ever had, after traveling through Spain these days. So disappointing. We’ll keep complaining on this case once we get back.

“Very nice hostal located in a village near Santander. Nearby there is a regular bus service to the city centre. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was offered on request, nothing fancy but a good start to the day! The staff were very friendly. · Cons: Some basic English skills for hotel staff would make communicating with international guests easier!”
