The bathroom appeared to have been refurbished so was pleasant.

To be improved

A very basic room. The pillow was like sleeping on a brick. So small and nowhere to leave suitcase open. No comfortable chair. Couldn’t get tv to work. Ensuite pleasant but no hook on door or stool to put clothes on. We asked for 2 cups of tea in the morning and were not allowed to have them in our room, then were asked to pay 8 euros for them.

“Nice quiet location, easy 15 minute walk into town, paper thin walls.”

Quiet position outside the town centre with parking. A lovely view from the hotel terrace and balcony, also from our room. The bed was comfortable and the shower good too. The staff, (mother and daughter?) were both friendly and polite, though only Spanish was spoken (we didn’t mind as we speak a little).

To be improved

Our first night was excellent as we were the only guests on the first floor (top) in this small hotel. The second night it was more or less full and it was very noisy. The walls turned out to have no sound insulation. The bathroom to the adjacent bedroom was obviously right next to our bed and everything could be heard through the wall which was not so pleasant. It didn’t help that one of the guests spent most of the night coughing. Sound insulation needs to be much improved. Would have given a better rating if not for this issue. A shame as we liked the place.
