Had a great stay. The room is clean and functional, the staff is kind and considerate. The spacious garden and shared reading room are nice extras.

The best

The location is perfect. Pleasant walk to a lovely beach with hermitage tucked to side. Next to beach is an overlook with a ruined tower that is perfect for watching sunset. Rustic hotel. Excellent value.

To be improved

Near cow pastures which is expected in country but it was warm and we needed to open the windows. There are no screens which is of course expected in this region but had several annoying flies in room.

Walking distance to a lovely cove. Rural setting with cows. Property was very clean. Hot shower. The host was very nice and offered suggestions on where to visit. Breakfast was good.

To be improved

Not a lot of soundproofing between rooms. We were lucky to have quiet neighbours.
