Unusual but acceptable breakfast. Location only one pubic bar/restaurant within walking distance that did not allow dogs inside!

Parking with availability every day, clean room, dog friendly, wifi is perfect

To be improved

1) In the description we had a room with a garden view, as a result we were looking in the wall 2) there was nobody in the reception all days and nights so in case of any question/emergency there is nobody 3) the photos uploaded in Booking are very far from the reality, for example the terrace is very very small in real life 4) breakfast is very modest, no fruits or any choice 5) for 190 euros (2 nights) you will get a tiny humid room without air conditioner, liquid soap diluted with water, not constant hot water, thin old towels, all in all there is a sense of economy everywhere 6) 10 euros per night for a dog, but no bed or bowls offered

Family run hotel. Hosts very friendly and ensured guests felt welcome and appreciated. Excellent fresh breakfast with very generous portions. Parking on premises with close, easy access to the accommodations.

“Pretty, comfortable rooms. Friendly, helpful hosts. Delicious breakfast. Good parking. Dog friendly. Lovely countryside views. Good outside space. Close to Santillana del Mar. · Cons: Only one power socket in the room - more would be great. Also a shelf in the bathroom to put things on would be very useful. Be aware the small village has only one bar (an Irish pub) which does not allow dogs inside, making evening options very limited in winter. Need to drive to Santillana for food. Bar listed in the posada itself is only occasional - perhaps in the summer?”
