Fantastic owners - Fantastic views - breakfast could have been better. It is worth noting that the complimentary refreshments are complimentary, but I would have expected more water bottles, and the wine to be a lot better than it was. Yes - Yes - Yes - the wine was free - but what is the point if it tastes like vinegar. The experience started off well, but when the hot water ran out after a couple of minutes, the room proved to be amazingly cold (OK we stayed there in winter - but still), and there was a distinct lack power sockets - not to mention light fittings hanging off the ceiling - it lowered the grade. However, to be fair, they have a wonderful little set up there - and I would recommend the place. I just get the impression that the owners are keen to please, but just miss a few of the essentials. People want hot water, power sockets, and not to have to wrap themselves up like a swaddled baby in order to stay warm in the night. And if a point is going to be made about the complimentary refreshments - live up to the boast.
