Quiet comfortable site. Quality furnishings and bed. Access to main routes.

We put the correct address in the satnav, and we finished up, nowhere near the place. They didn't seem to be ready for guests. Outside areas weren't prepared. Although we had access to the spa, we weren't informed you need bathing caps and swimming costumes, not shorts. The continental breakfast wasn't great. First time we've had a continental breakfast without a breakfast roll of some kind. Just various sliced breads. Finally, the TV in the room looked like it had been added as an afterthought. It was tiny and badly positioned.

The best

The place is very nice and charming, in an old renovated property. There is a small spa in the basement and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff, despite not being able to speak English, were very nice, caring and friendly.

To be improved

The location is good in terms of transport links but there is not much around the area. I was struggling to find decent places to have a good dinner nearby, the only open place was in the nearby village where the food was very average and quite expensive for what it was. In another village, the place was closed (even though it was marked as open on Google).

Quality Building in lovely rural situation. Very well appointed. Ample secure car parking. Very good breakfasts.
