Posada Real Casa de Tepa

What a wonderful place! This is the 300 year old house of the owner’s family. Lovlery vibe. Great modernized rooms. Lovely common areas and a spectacular courtyard/garden with an honour bar. One of the loveliest places I have ever stayed at. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Location in the middle of Astorga, which is great. Outside parking space available at the hotel. Clear guidance received on what to to enter in the gps to find the hotel, because it is in a pedestrian street. Very friendly staff. Amazing building, authentic rooms, with good airconditioning, good shower in spacious bathroom. Self service bar available in the nice garden.

Our room was stunning, overlooking the courtyard. We don’t think the pictures do it justice. The staff was wry accommodating. The bar is an honour bar. And there are shared rooms for reading, chess…just loved it!

We loved this hotel - the historic rooms, the beautiful garden, the honesty bar and the welcoming staff - quite charming. We struggled to find the car park on our Satnav with the one way system - Cesar got in the car with my husband and directed him to the car parking space. This is a charming little town with several restaurants. Breakfast was fabulous. We would highly recommend.
