We were offered a double room but given two single beds. We chose this because an evening meal was offered but we were told to drive to Comillas. No heating, no welcome as the hostess and all other guests were at a wedding. We felt they accepted our booking on false pretences. We were cold and did not sleep well.

The best

Cozy is the name of this place. The property and the room were extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and nice-looking. In the evening we were sitting outside the building and felt like we are in heaven - so nice and peaceful it was. We added a few Euros for the country-style breakfast and it was worth every penny.

To be improved

In the evening the hosts also open a small restaurant on the same property. Among the property rules, there is a bit strange one prohibiting bringing any food to the hotel, probably because guests are expected to have dinner there (for an extra fee indeed). This limitation is not clearly communicated when booking and may create a kind of misunderstanding.

“An enjoyable and relaxing stay in a pretty rural hamlet close to the beach.”

The quiet and seclusion. Only a short drive to the beach - we walked in about 40 mins. The owners were very helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed the well cooked evening meals.
