Loved the ambience of the old house. Bedroom was roomy and had great views over the surrounding fields and valley. The proprietor was a charming lady who made sure we were settled in. They allowed dogs. They had small but car parking space at front of house.

To be improved

The breakfast was very low on choice and quality. Coffee was plentiful, though. Everything came out of little cellophane packets. No fresh juices. Limited supply of different breads. It also stated it had glutton options, which it didn't. Very disappointing overall. The bed was not standard length, so people like me at 1'93cms did not sleep comfortably. Also, why don't these places give you duvets instead of wrapped sheets that ruckle up during the night, exposing the mattress! The bathroom was adequate but again spoilt by shower curtains rather than a glass partition. The property fronted directly onto the main road. This presented risk when exiting with your car and walking the dogs.

Rustic hotel with lots of original features. Basic breakfast available for 6 euro. Overall accommodation good value.

Surprised that room had no window, ventilation from small window in bathroom.
