“Adequate hotel, but could have been better”
The best

Our group stayed here during our Camino trip. I was sharing a room and it was so small that we had to back up and get out of each other's way in order to walk around the room. It was clear they took a single room and made it into a double. They split the double bed apart (as it was two twins) and placed mine under the light and light switch on the wall, so I was unable to sit up in bed, and my head would have been right under the light when I slept. We ended up moving the beds around so I wouldn't hit my head when I sat up. The terrace was larger than the room, but the only furniture was a chair (completely wrapped in duct tape) and a table. Additionally, when we asked the proprietor to call us a cab in order to go into downtown Vigo she called someone (not sure who) and then hung up and told us to get on the bus, specifically "any bus", and just go downtown; however, we weren't sure of the direction of downtown nor bus fare. Luckily we found a cab on the street near the hotel and ended up taking it instead. The one positive experience was breakfast, as the owners were accommodating and there was a variety of food, as well as fruit and bottles of water we could take with us on the Camino.

“Unfortunately, just an overnight stay.”
The best

Very nice hotel and with terrific staff. Car park in garage free of charge. Quiet and nice garden. Large private terrace to the room. Right so close to nice beaches. Nice and well-ordered breakfast. family-run hotel. Would like to return.

“Family-run hotel, near to splendid beaches”
The best

Vigo is not well-known for its beaches, but if you are lucky with the weather, you could have a wonderful break, without the crowds, humidity and stress of the Mediterranean resorts. This hotel is only a stone's throw away from some wonderful beaches. It's relaxing and unpretentious and really handy

“Fine except for no hot water”
The best

My only issue with this place was that we didn't have hot water. Not sure why it didn't work. The manager of the hotel didn't speak english but did her best. In the end, no hot water is no hot water and is a simple necessity in any establishment. On a whole it is a pleasant place. Close to the lovely Praia de Samil. Cheap breakfast - coffee, croissant and juices for 2.50euro. I didn't get to experience the breakfast. I only saw a sign. There was off street parking but the road was safe to park on anyway. The downstairs area was pretty cool. Wifi was available and worked well. We had a nice balcony. A good shop is just down the road for food.

“Fabulous Terrace”
The best

The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, the staff helpful and the breakfast is excellent - the view from the terrace is amazing. I spent my time, while I was at the hotel, sitting on my terrace admiring the view of the bay. The receptionist helped us find some excellent restaurant - we do not speak any spanish and had, unfortunately, lost our spanish phrase book - but we managed to have some wonderful meals. Would definitely stay in this hotel again.
