“Not Worth It. Better hotels in Barcelona.”
The best

We upgraded our room from standard to a suite at time of booking, and got a dungy dark room, not the one we had booked. We could smell people smoking in the courtyard right into the room. The staff are very unaccommodating. The hotel and the suite has a very tired look. The room has to shut off from the extension or it wouldn’t heat. Highly disappointed staying here. Will not be staying at Praktik Hotels again after this experience.

“Warm welcome at authentic little gem”
The best

Wonderful, authentically cool hotel with hospitable and friendly staff. I moved to the Praktik hotel after a horrendous stay at one of the Spanish chains (Barcelò Sants). The Praktik has a really wonderful feel to it: amazing garden and terrace for such a central location, the rooms also have balconies overlooking the garden too. Has an elevator for those not keen to get steps in. And unlike big-brand hotels, they don't want to make a profit off of bottled water: they give you a glass bottle to refill from their purified tap in their cozy library. Will definitely come again.

“Great choice”
The best

Great small hotel. Stayed three nights with three people in room 106. Has elevator. Room was perfect size with places to bit things. Shelf in bathroom for toiletries. Clean, quiet. Has a lovely garden area for relaxing (smoking area). Cold water available all day, coffee and mini muffins in the morning. I heard that beach towels are available as weel, but did not request any. Staff were helpful. 10 - 15 min walk from Las Ramblas. Overall good location if you are ok walking. We took a lot of taxis because of the heat. Taxis are easy to get out front of hotel, or they can arrange for you. Would stay again.
