It really frustrates me when you arrive at a flat as a tourist and have to buy basic essentials like trash bags and cleaning supplies.

The best

We enjoyed our stay. Calella/Llafranc area is our favorite. Location is fantastic, in terms of proximity to beach, grocery, restaurants, etc. Loved that. Place was clean upon arrival. Host was great at communicating. Beds were comfortable. No AC did not bother our sleep as the fans were more than sufficient (our stay is in August, so it really is just fine).

To be improved

No soap/shampoo for shower? No extra toilet paper? Some basic amenities in kitchen would be nice... few coffee pods, salt, pepper, olive oil, paper towels, a toaster... just basics, not asking for much here... BUT, Grocery store is across the street, behind the building, so we took care of these things in less than 30 min.

Cleanliness could have been better. At this price point the apartment should have: Dishwasher Microwave Washing Machine Wifi Airconditioning (although open windows and fans worked reasonably well)

I have stayed at this apartment before and absolutely love the location. It's the perfect base to explore Calella de Palafrugell.

When traveling with toddlers the lack of washing machine could be a problem but there was a laundromat not far.
