Precise Resort El Rompido-The Hotel

Don’t stay in the club apartments unless you’re really trying to save money and don’t mind a less busy/quiet holiday. The hotel is another level in terms of friendliness of staff, rooms, and quality of food. Golf was amazing no complaints. Extremely quiet location so would only recommend if you plan to stay on the resort. The club apartments were extremely quiet at this time of year but the hotel was a lot more busy. The club apartments advertise as having 2 restaurants when it’s actually only 1, and the food was extremely hit and miss. The staff in general were very friendly bar one or two who were extremely rude. Overall me and my fam had a good time but we would no doubt stay in the actual hotel next time and not the club apartments. Great golf courses and facilities

Excellent time service and friendly staff, the golf courses were in great condition with very tricky greens, I would recommend without hesitation and will more than likely return as it’s excellent value. Couldn’t fault the food choices and overall staff attention. All 9 in our group thought the same.

We had a wonderful 5-day stay at this adorable hotel, and we left feeling completely rested. The sound of crashing waves lulled us to sleep each night, and the staff's warm welcome set the tone for a fantastic holiday. The half-board option was great, and when we missed dinner on our first night, the team kindly arranged for a meal to be sent to our room - such a thoughtful touch. The views of the Atlantic were simply breathtaking, and we loved the variety of spots to relax within the hotel and amazing garden. The heated pool was a highlight, and we appreciated the hard work of the staff in maintaining such a high standard. We also loved the hotel's classic decor - it's timeless and elegant, and we wouldn't change a thing! 😊"

This was my 5th consecutive end of January trip. Sadly, the worse weather wise. Spain was hit by a massive storm that week. The course was very wet but the greens were terrific. We got very wet for a while on the Tuesday but other than that it was very windy, links conditions but we lost no golf time. The day the course was closed we were not due to play anyway. The one criticism I have about El Rompido is that the buildings are looking tired and in need of a lick of paint, otherwise, I love the place, two great golf courses, no traffic/plane noise, no screaming kids, great food and terrific staff. I’m going again in June with a different group for the second year and will be back next January.
